Teleperformance wins first Great Place to Work® award in Turkey

PARIS–(COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Regulatory news:

Teleperformance (Paris: TEP), a leading global group in digitally integrated business services, today announced that its award-winning operations in Turkey have been recognized with the first-ever Great Place to Work® (GPTW®) award. Strengths of GPTW® recognition include high participation rates in employee surveys and high scores across all assessment areas including diversity, Covid-19 health and safety metrics, employee experience integration, reliability and working environment. In addition to working from home, Teleperformance hosts operations at five facilities and customer sites in Istanbul, Balıkesir, Usak, Antalya and Diyarbakir.

With the world still facing employment challenges and disruption from the Covid-19 pandemic, obtaining GPTW 2021 certification from Teleperformance in Turkey is a remarkable achievement, especially under conditions of continued lockdown.

Holly Petroff, Global Executive Vice President of GPTW®, said: “More than 3,500 Teleperformance employees in Turkey have participated in confidential surveys that assess employee confidence by rating the company on credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. Survey responses are independently validated through rigorous audits covering everything from employee engagement to the quality of physical work facilities and corporate culture. It is an important step that the Turkish operation was able to achieve certification on its very first attempt, especially during a very difficult year. We are very happy to recognize Teleperformance in Turkey as 2021 Great Place to Work®.

Tülay Doğrular, CEO, Teleperformance Turkey, commented : “As Teleperformance Turkey, our main commitment to our employees, customers and stakeholders is to be a great place to work. With this goal in mind, we believe in the importance of creating a family-friendly workplace and we maintain open and transparent communication with them. We see our differences as an asset and treat all employees with the same respect and consideration; we celebrate diversity because it is a great strength for us. In an effort to create a comfortable and healthy workplace, we created the motto “We are still together” at the start of the pandemic and immediately adopted remote and hybrid working models. Today, we are proud to receive the Great Place to Work certification which attests that our employees are happy to work in a team spirit and in cooperation within the Teleperformance family.

With a top global priority of employee well-being, 31 separate national Teleperformance operations are currently independently recognized as Great Employers by third-party reviewers: Albania, Argentina, Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, El Salvador, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Kosovo, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States of America. This represents around 90% of Teleperformance’s global workforce.

Teleperformance Chairman and CEO Daniel Julien said: “Globally, the health, safety and professional growth of our employees remain top priorities for the Group. This continued commitment is validated by being currently independently certified as a Great Employer in 31 countries, which represents approximately 90% of our total workforce globally. This includes both institutional work and home staff work. We are delighted with both the independent audit findings and, in particular, the unbiased endorsements of our own employees, which have made us a Great Place to Work® in Turkey and many other countries around the world.
